In just a couple weeks, Seattle ACS and Puget Sound Repeater Group (PSRG) will again co-host an urban station for ARRL Field Day. ARRL Field Day is the most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada. On the fourth weekend of June, more than 35,000 radio amateurs gather with their clubs, groups or simply with friends to operate from remote locations. Operations include HF SSB phone and CW; VHF-UHF; digital; a GOTA station (Get On The Air) to allow non-licensed and newly licensed visitors to transmit.
Location: South Seattle College, 6000 16th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98106.
We will be in the field behind Olympic Hall on the south end of campus.
Setup: Friday, June 24, 8am—6pm and Saturday, June 25, 8am—11am
Operation: Saturday, June 25, 11am through to Sunday, June 26, 11am.
Tear-down: Sunday, June 26 11am to about 2:00pm.
