Thank You to all who joined us for a special Holiday meeting of the Medical Services and ACS Teams.
Our meeting was held on Saturday December 10th 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at the Discovery Park Environmental Learning Center. During our Annual Meeting and Holiday celebration, we highlighted some of our teams’ accomplishments this past year.
Barb Graf, Director of Seattle’s Office of Emergency Management gave a very nice synopsis of her appreciation and praise, she also reminded us of our value in supporting Emergency and Special Event Operations for the City.
Our Guest Speaker was Robert Montaque, Shift Supervisor for the City’s 911/Police Dispatch Center. Rob explained what happens when we make a call to 9-1-1 in the city of Seattle, how calls are processed and how calls are dispatched and resources are allocated. He also discussed some new developments in the system, and answered some technical questions.
